Scheduled a consultation with Mr.Mchatton and he flaked on me because he had an "emergency hearing." I rescheduled and got the days confused with a different appointment. When I called back to reschedule his secretary proceeded to use profanity and insulted me. Don't hire them they will treat you like trash and waste your valuable time.
After a consultation I paid for, Dret McHatton agreed to take my case. While I was waiting for something from them to get the retainer paid, they decided to not take my case and "fill their calendar." They didnt even bother reaching out to me to let me know. I had to reach out and ask myself. Knowing it's a last minute case. I cancled another consult with another lawyer because Dret gave me his word. Wouldn't trust this lawyer to keep his promises.
Dret did a great job with my daughters adoption case. He was on top of everything, very timely, and gave me no surprises. He even returned my emails on holidays. I was very anxious about the process and he made me feel at ease. I couldn’t have asked for a better attorney. I would highly recommend him.
Let me start off by saying: Dret is an excellent lawyer. Very smart and excellent in his profession. Divorce is messy business, though, and his retainer is very expensive ($3,500). At the end of my divorce, with default judgement, I paid more than double that. My ex, who represented himself, tried to prolong and postpone the proceedings as much as he could, and Dret did everything he could to counter it. But it does add up at $350/hour. I recommend Dret for his knowledge and professionalism if you can afford him.
Dret was very helpful and gave great advice to my family member who had family law issues 5-6 years ago. He was very knowledgeable and is known to be a tenacious and trustworthy advocate for his clients in town. I would highly recommend Dret to anyone who needs a good family law attorney!
